Run Eight (Week 3, Day 1):
- 5-minute warm-up walk
- warm-up lunges
- 1 minutes of running
- 2 minutes of walking
- repeat run/walk interval 10-times (27 minutes)
- cooldown walk
- calf raises
Sometimes when I run, I get something poking me in the foot. It’s like pinestraw got stuck in my sock and everytime I walk the needle pokes me in the foot. I know if I take my shoe off it’s going to be nothing. I really don’t know what this says about me. It drives me crazy. I obsess about it while I workout. Why can I not ignore it? Running really brings out the princess in me. When I run, it’s like I can feel every particle in my body—especially the ones that hurt or agitates. All that aside, I took it slow today and enjoyed the intervals. Can you believe, I just said enjoyed the intervals. Who am I?
I always have run regrets or little nagging things that tweak my brain while I run.
- Started doing situps to help core and weak lower back.
- I should have taken off my sock.
